RSC 20 YEARS! ANNIVERSARY MARATHON 2026

In honor of the 20th anniversary of the RSC shooting range, we are launching a new project this season – “ANNIVERSARY MARATHON 2026”.

There will be 9 marathon stages during the season, but a grand final event with awards and a lottery is planned at the end of the year.

The results of the club competition on March 8 will be included in the marathon annual ranking.

What is a marathon?

We will prepare the shooting ranges for competitions for two working days a month.

A special feature of the marathon stages – no prior registration is required.

You can arrive from 10:00 to 19:00, train and then complete the competition program, the results of which will be recorded by the referee.

After each marathon, the results will be recorded in the overall ranking table to determine the best participants at the end of the season.

Participation fee and program

Participation fee for one marathon stage – 40 EUR (100 targets).

The marathon stage program – 100 targets, and the disciplines will change regularly (Compak Sporting, Club Sporting, Double Compak, Sportrap).

Participants:
• Latvian athletes and hunters
• athletes from other countries

All participants will be divided into 4 groups – A, B, C, D, based on the results of the overall standings.

In addition, there will be separate categories:

• LADY
• JUNIOR
• SENIOR
• VETERAN
(categories by year of birth)

Scoring

The overall standings of the anniversary marathon will be determined as follows:

• There will be a total of 9 marathon stages during the season (including the March 8 competition, as well as the April, May, June, July, August, September, October stages and the final competition);

• the overall standings will take into account the 5 best results from all stages;
• the stage results in the overall standings will be expressed as a percentage (to hundredths);
• the result of each marathon winner is equated to 100%.
• the overall standings will include all athletes, including participants from other countries.

Awarding

At the end-of-year event, cups and valuable prizes will be awarded to:
In categories (Lady, Junior, Senior, Veteran):

• 1st–3rd place in the overall standings

In groups:
• Group A – up to 6th place
• Groups B, C, D – up to 3rd place

In addition, the best participant in each marathon stage will also be awarded. However, if an athlete achieves the best result in the marathon stage twice, his result will be counted as the best in the overall standings, but the title of stage winner will be awarded to the next best result.

If the results are equal, the winner will be determined according to the FITASC principle, excluding the last field.

One participant who has scored the highest number of points in all marathon stages will also be awarded (1 target shot = 1 point).
